Welcome to the website of the Caister High School Friends. The Caister High School Friends is an association for anyone who wishes to support the school in, to use the words of our constitution:

The object of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils in the School. In furtherance of this object the Association may:-

• Develop more extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the School.
• Engage in activities which support the School and advance the education of the pupils attending it.
• Provide and assist in the provision of facilities for education at the School (not normally provided by the local authority).

Prize Bingo Evening & AGM

The AGM and Bingo night, although having a relatively poor turnout, was successful in raising £98 after all the expenses were taken into account and a new committee was elected at the AGM. Further details of those who are members of the committee can be found HERE! Prizes for the Bingo evening, and other future fundraising events were provided by some very generous local businesses and the committee would like to thank them all.

Future Events

The next event that CHS Friends will be running will be a Rag Week. Bags will be sent home to each family on Friday 11 November and should be returned to school, (hopefully) full of old clothes, shoes, & bags the following week commencing 14 November. The Bags can either be brought into school or if more convenient may be left at Yarmouth Carpets & Flooring, in Broad Row. The school will get £6 per kilo of bags and shoes and £5 for old clothes.
